2025 – Reabilitação – Lisboa

Gorvell was invited by an cultural foundation to design its new headquarters in a former bank building in Lisbon’s Baixa Pombalina.

Working with the concepts of inversion, verticality, and minimal intervention, we proposed the new home be structured in clear programmatic layers around a central lightwell. A new architectural language emerges from reusing demolished materials as new elements—shaping both the renovation strategy and the approach to activating the building and curating its programme.
